Our piece of work turned out to be only a minute long after the editing process, so we needed to add a minute to make it the length required in the specification.
This is the location where we shot the extra minute:
These are some pictures taken while completing the shoot:
Our second minute involves mainly close ups of our main character with different lighting techniques. This should hopefully convey how our character is slowly going mad over the time she has been held captive, this sets up for the rest of the film the way she gets revenge on her kidnappers.
In these shots we used the use of low key lighting and the chiaroscuro effect in a dark room to show that this is what is going on in her mind.
You need to blog recent events.
ReplyDeleteYou have used the above for a short piece of additional filming but faced with still being too short, you had to re shoot an additional scene. Explain ideas on this, props costume etc.
You also have nothing on the editing process and what decisions you had to make and why. Consider how you have manipulatred space, time etc, any transitions or continuity techniques that you used and try to communicate how you did these and why. - this would all be regarded as very good practice.
What about target audience? Have you asked for input from your audience yet as to filming or editing - this should be included throughout and you should be continually asking for feedback and indication how it inflienced your decision making.
