TARGET AUDIENCE FEEDBACK

5 comments:

  1. The story is well constructed and well shot, the shot where it's replicating the CCTV is a little shaky and I don't think it works as well as it would if it were shot still. The voice over worked really well and helps us as the audience understand the story and the back story of the main character, leading us to like said character even more and feel as if we have a connection with her. The close up shots in the film didn't let us see the mise en scene very much, but the shots themselves made up for it. The titling is well positioned and isn't too overbearing and in the way, it's subtle and sleek. The only problem I would say is that there isn't much room to ask questions since we pretty much know everything that has happened in the opening already.

  2. The opening sequence is fantastically structured, making the viewer want to watch more!

the use of camera angles are very good! with the help of after editing you have made the 'cctv' style cameras pretty realistic.

Mise en scene is perfect through out, i love the shot when you can see the little girl in the park but you can also see the van rock up in the distance.

The soundtrack and the voice over match really well and it very well done.

The titling and font was appropriate to time scale and storyline

all in all a very well presented opening!

  3. the film was well done and the camera shots were also well thought through. The CCTV worked well confused me a bit. The commentary also worked well and built up the suspense. Lighting worked very well with the whole beginning of the film. it was well edited and the titling was alright. I think the opening was alright.

  4. The opening scene with the girl on the swing is very good, the edits that go with it makes it more effective as a opening to a thriller, which can go on to make a full length thriller film.

The CCTV shots were very well used, and overall it gave the opening more of a thriller feel to it.

Her 'revenge' plan is still yet to be seen, which leaves it as a cliff hanger for the viewer.

The music for the sequence fitted very well.

worked very well as opening sets up the plot of the film to be pretty interesting. CCTV effect was brillaint , especcilly the timestamp in the corner, looked good but may have worked even better with stationary shots. Fast pace for the kidnapping works well and silhoutte shots look well set up
